Norwegian Buhund

Appearance: The Norwegian Buhund features a distinct look characterized by densely coated nordic spitz type (males up to 18.5 inches, 40 lbs). tail curved tightly over back, wedge-shaped head, erect pointed ears. lithe but sturdy medium size. coat colors: wheaten or black. closely associated with vikings. It's a style that says 'I'm ready for anything,' even if 'anything' just means a long nap.

Traits & Characteristics: These dogs are often described as adept at herding/guarding. smart, affectionate, steadfastly devoted family dogs. confident, active, need exercise/training. can be vocal. good with children if raised with them.
