Appearance: The Saint Bernard features a distinct look characterized by genial giant of swiss alps (males minimum 27.5 inches, 120-180 lbs). very powerful, extraordinarily muscular, imposing, massive. huge head, wrinkled brow, short muzzle, dark eyes give intelligent, friendly expression (welcome sight to stranded travelers). not highly ranked in registrations, but world famous/beloved. often called saint. It's a style that says 'I'm ready for anything,' even if 'anything' just means a long nap.

Traits & Characteristics: These dogs are often described as famously watchful, patient 'nanny dog' for children. calm, gentle, good-natured. need early socialization/training due to massive size. moderate exercise needs. can drool significantly. They bring a mix of charm and personality to any home, along with enough spirit to keep things interesting.
